LIDL Ireland is set to sell a major new 'back to college' range - with prices from just €1.49.

The new collection will be in stores around the country on Monday, August 7.

Pen sets will cost €1.49 per pack or two for €2, there's also a desk lamp for €14.99, a desk chair for €69.99 and storage boxes for €2.99.

Lidl will also have noise-cancelling Bluetooth headphones for €54.99 and a USB charging hub for €14.99.

For those moving away from home, there's also bed linen from €9.99, an ironing board for €19.99 and pillows are priced at €10.99.

Meanwhile, another popular Irish retailer has launched a brand new range of amazing back to school staples.

Decathlon have stocked up on essential items such as school bags, lunch boxes and water bottles - with prices starting from €2.

And the popular sports store claim the items won't break the bank, which will be welcome news for those feeling the pressure of the cost of living crisis.

The store has multiple backpacks to choose from at varying sizes and prices.

If you’re shopping in store, you can stop by the Decathlon Workshop and have your bag personalised with vinyl printing and embroidery services available.

The team can also print vinyl stickers for your child’s pencil case, sports bag and even uniforms, clothing and soccer jerseys!
